Mark Devries grew up in New York City and presently lives in Washington, DC. He produced and directed the award-winning 2013 documentary Speciesism: The Movie, which screened at theaters worldwide and has been featured in Scientific American, The Huffington Post, CNN Headline News, Psychology Today, and most popularly The Sydney Morning Herald, among many others. He continues to appear and speak at special screenings of Speciesism, while working on several new projects.
